Angels & Demons, Part 2: Channeling

Spiritual encounters happen every day to regular people. While we do not see apparitions appearing before us, we do sense strong emotional urges. Many times these urges are from outside forces seeking our harm.

Today we see a common practice called channeling, wherein which someone goes into a trance and claims to be speaking to some long lost soul, some angel, or some other type of spiritual being. The bookstores are full of such lessons that these entities provide.

Who are these entities and how legitimate are their teachings? How can we tell the difference between truth and falsehood, the good and the bad?

Even in religious circles today we have the common phenomena of Facilitated Communication with autistic individuals. How legitimate is this?

How can we tell if what is being channeled is holy or a subtle demonic deception?
